Visual & Conceptual Tools to promote Social Safety

SoSAFE! is a set of visual and conceptual tools designed to promote social safety to clients with an Intellectual Disability (moderate to severe range) and Autism Spectrum Disorder. SoSAFE! tools promote social safety through the provision of a simplified and rule-governed model of social reality that teaches the type and degree of verbal and physical intimacy appropriate with different categories of people.

Disability Worker Training

Support & Engage People with Disabilities in their daily lives. 

Introduction to Sexuality & Disability (12, 13 and 14 October 2010. Cost: $295 (Electronic Resources) or $350 (Paper Resources)). This 3 day course is designed to allow participants to support and engage people with disabilities in their daily lives and provides positive strategies for appropriate behaviours.

The course will equip participants with skills in communicating comfortably, effectively and in a way accessible to to people with a disability; and assist participants in the preparation & provision of appropriate information about sexual and reproductive health to address the needs of individuals and groups of clients.
